A Place Of Hope's Summary

Summary:

An estimated 11 million Americans currently suffer from eating disorders such as anorexia, binge eating disorder, and bulimia. Dr. Gregg Jantz dedicates his life to helping people with these and other kinds of disorders such as depression, gambling addiction, chemical dependency, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. People suffering from these sorts of illnesses often find it difficult to hope that their lives can improve. This is why Dr. Gregg Jantz calls The Center for Counseling and Health Resources, Inc. “A Place of Hope.” Dr. Gregg Jantz believes that treating patients with compulsive disorders demands an approach that addresses multiple areas of a patient’s life, from their intellectual stance to their relationships to their spirituality. Dr. Gregg Jantz has used this whole-person model of treatment for sufferers of trauma, depression, addiction, and other disorders successfully since 1984. Dr. Gregg Jantz insists that hope is possible for every patient, no matter how difficult or intractable his or her disorder may appear. The goal is for the patient to emerge from treatment with the root causes of the disorders resolved and to be able to lead a full, happy, healthy life. To assist his patients at The Center for Counseling and Health Resources, Inc., Dr. Gregg Jantz assembled a recovery team consisting of individual and family therapists, psychologists, nutritionists, massage therapists, certified social workers, fitness trainers, and a board-certified psychiatrist along with other specialists. The author of several books, Dr. Gregg Jantz frequently appears on popular interview shows and religious programming, and he has given over 1,600 radio interviews.
