A graduate of Iowa State University, where he studied Agricultural Business and Accounting, Brent Rippentrop got his start with Deere & Company as an accounting intern for John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works. This experience led to a series of management positions with increased responsibility through the early 1990s. One key early position with Deere & Company was as Director of Rental Marketing within the Construction and Forestry Equipment Division. In that position, Brent Rippentrop oversaw rapid growth within the construction equipment rental market, maintaining close relationships with some of Deere & Company’s largest customers. From 1997 to 2003, Brent Rippentrop served as the Director of Market Development for the Construction Equipment Rental division of Sunstate Equipment Company. Deere & Company held a minority stake in this firm. In this position, Brent Rippentrop spearheaded an aggressive expansion campaign, launching over 30 “green start” stores in three years and increasing revenues by a factor of four. At the same time, Brent Rippentrop successfully maintained the highest standards of corporate accountability. As with Deere & Company, Brent Rippentrop changed accounting and distribution systems for Sunstate Equipment Company, making them as efficient as possible Brent Rippentrop is now Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for RSC Equipment and enjoys an active life golfing and supporting his son's competitive swimming activities in Iowa. A dedicated family man, Brent Rippentrop supports the St. Boniface Catholic Church.
