A former teacher in the Littleton Public School System, Mrs. Terrie Spieker brings a unique philosophy to her work as an educator. Dedicated to helping her students achieve their maximum potentials, Terrie Spieker works to create the most productive, safe, and nurturing learning environment possible. Because all students learn in different ways and at different speeds, Terrie Spieker employs a variety of different educational pedagogies in her teaching. During her seven-year tenure with the Littleton Public School System, Terrie Spieker shared her educational insights with other teachers in the district through a number of workshops, including a Computer/Technology Workshop, Stress Management Workshop, Assertiveness Workshop, Motivating Unmotivated Students Workshop, and a Substitute Teacher Workshop. Terrie Spieker earned her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Terrie Spieker hopes to expand her teaching experience and ability further with a Master’s degree in Education and Human Development from the University of Colorado Denver. Terrie Spieker will complete her graduate school training in 2010. Prior to entering the field of education, Terrie Spieker worked for nearly 15 years in private industry. Serving as a Sales Representative for Qwest Communications in Denver, Colorado, Terrie Spieker effectively managed a wide range of responsibilities, including customer support, sales, and project management. In her spare time, Terrie Spieker enjoys giving back to her community through a number of different volunteer initiatives. Terrie Spieker volunteers primarily through her parish, the Light of the World Catholic Church. Apart from volunteering, Terrie Spieker spends her free time playing a variety of sports, including golf, volleyball, and softball. An outdoors enthusiast, Terrie Spieker also enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping.
